We took our 9 month old for his first theatre trip - to see The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. He loved all the music, singing and lights and was enthralled for the entire second half. I'm a regular in the cafe but will definitely be back to watch more plays! Big thanks to Chloe for reassuring me a babe in arms would be welcome and advising where to book our seats - we were J 1&2 so could easily bounce him in the aisle without blocking anyone's view, sit in the empty disabled area to breastfeed him, or sneak outside if he got loud. We'll be booking our earlybird tickets for next year!

We have just seen The Night Before Christmas. Staff were very helpful and friendly, the building is very new, clean and cosy, not a bad seat in the auditorium, the gradients means you can see wherever you sit and finally the show was fab. We had a 3 children under 4 and they all were happy and very involved with the show. The youngest didn't stop smiling all the way through. Would recommend!

Visited Cornerstone for the beer and cider festival this weekend. Despite the rain it was a great evening, with plenty of beers and ciders to choose from at a very reasonable price. The BBQ beef burgers we had were fantastic and we saw Adam Barnes do a set- and he was amazing. Top marks Cornerstone.

This is a fabulous venue for the Dance Connection show. Each year the staff at the theatre are fantastic and supportive. The dressing rooms are great for all the pupils. The theatre itself is an amazing platform to showcase DC's talent (from the teachers and pupils!). Always a pleasure to be at the Cornerstone 😊

The Cornerstone is a great local venue. We have been to several shows since it opened, mostly family/children events. Most recently was the Three Half Pints presenting The Three Musketeers. My son (9) and I were grinning, giggling or guffawing right through! No spoilers, but I'm still having flashbacks to the black lycra! I've no idea why this wasn't a sell out show (2pm); perhaps as it was Father's Day? It was fantastic; great comic acting and excellent use of the stage & set design. It was fabulous that they took the time to meet the kids after the show too. We shall definitely be back to see them again.

Please keep on punching above your weight with a great and inventive selection of bookings - Godot, Propeller and werewolves in the last few weeks alone

Great space - why go far afield with this on your doorstep?

I only got as far as the coffee shop but I will be back. DELICIOUS coffee, a warm welcome, comfy seating and some toys for little ones. Perfect!

Had a business meeting in the Diamond Room today. The staff were fantastic as ever, and the food for lunch was amazing. A fantastic venue - thank you!

For those aspiring writers who missed the poetry workshop today, you missed a fun day. Most attendees were new to poetry, but by the end of the day all were writing fluently. It was truly a worthwhile workshop. Thank you Mark.

User

Fabulous evening, wonderful performance, amazing talent, would highly recommend this show to anyone xx

User

Excellent venue AND a great concert, just a pity is was not as well supported as it deserved. You apathetic people out there - get your finger out and go and enjoy some really great and varied concerts. I took someone who had lived in the area years but had never been to Cornerstones Theatre. Result - I was thanked for a wonderful evening.

Excellent Beer and Music festival once again. The BBQ was good quality and great value for money. The variety of Beers available was brilliant πŸ»πŸŒπŸΎπŸ‘

Every corner tells a story and there are plenty to tell here - the layout is fresh, the rooms are all proportioned well and it is welcoming to all that enter. What more could you want from an important local venue to the Didcot community. Will definitely return...

Cornerstone is Fabulous! An excellent venue with quite literally, class acts! Who would expect that all the current Comedians and stand up acts would perform in dear old Didcot and for such a reasonable cost?

The staff are always friendly and welcoming, it is indeed a pleasure to have this wonderful facility with all it offers here in Didcot.

However, if I have to make any critique about the venue, it would be the inexperience of the bar staff, excruciatingly slow at producing for example, 2 gins and 1 tonic – some optics would help I feel to access and dispense instead of painfully measuring alongside others at the interval rush in particular. Several of the pre- booked interval drinks were incorrect I noticed as I waited for seemed to be an age for my small, simple order! There were 4 people serving which is plenty for such a small venue - I believe this whole experience would benefit from some streamlining to make the whole experience less stressful for staff and customer alike.

Keep up the good work!

Can't tell you how much my son and I enjoyed 'Operation Crucible' last night. We both agreed that it was one of the best things we have ever seen on stage. It was our first visit to Cornerstone; we had come from Princes Risborough so a bit of a trek but well worth it. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming as well as a brilliant show. Thank you!

The Cornerstone is a good venue offering a wide variety of different shows and events. The staff are always helpful and friendly. My only slight negative point is that the seating in the auditorium could be more comfortable.
