If you’re interested in the idea of technical diving, but still have not made up your mind whether it is for you or not, or if you just think learning to dive with a twin set would be a cool experience, then why not sign up for the Twin Set Diver Specialty.
The PADI twinset fundamentals course is aimed at anyone looking to get an understanding of what twinset diving is all about.
The PADI twinset speciality is also recognised and approved by PADI as a Distinctive Specialty....
The training provided will give you a full overview of how easy diving with a twin set can really be. Hopefully at the end of the 2 days you will be a full convert to the idea of using a twinset for you diving, who knows, you may even get the bug and book yourself onto the PADI Tec 40 course.
You don’t need to own a twin set as all the equipment is provided including twin 12ltr manifold cylinders, wing system and regulators.
Once you have completed the training these sets are available to you to hire if you decide not to buy your own.
The course consists of self study followed by a days theory and a pool session and two open water dives conducted over 2 days, including a boat dive to one of our local wrecks.
The cost for this course, including all materials, certification upon successful completion of the course, all gas and boat fees is £250 pp.

The dive team were brill! I had never dived before and they helped me become confident in hours. Sophia, on my first sea dive, made the experience fun and chilled whilst giving me the lessons I needed to dive, she was well bien. What was essentially a training course became such a sick time! Highly recommend this centre if you’re considering exploring the seas. �

My husband and my 12 year old son went to Cornish Diving School in June this year to do their open water course.Since then they have completed - peak performance buoyancy, boat diver, underwater naturalist, SMB diver, emergency oxygen provider, CPR/first aid, digital uw photography, fish identification, enriched air, dry suit, advanced open water and rescue diver !!! On behalf of Mike and Max I would like to say a huge thank you to Keith, Matt and Sue and all at CDS for everything so far ! To say they are enjoying it is an understatement !! I know they are looking forward to completing more PADI courses and many more dives with Cornish Diving School

Just completed my Padi Open Water and my whole hearted thanks to all the team, Sue, Matt, Emi, Josh and Chris...Special thanks to Emi whose patience was greatly appreciated. The whole experience was amazing and I highly recommend Cornish Dive School if you are looking to take up scuba diving...The teaching was relaxed and all geared to getting you achieve your goal...certainly now looking forward to progressing my dive education and completing my advanced course with you all.

In one word amazing! A friendly and welcoming group of people who want you to enjoy diving no matter what. Fleur is a diamond, I cannot thank her enough. I was put off diving 10 years ago by a bad experience, Fleur put in the time and effort to help me overcome my issues and get me diving. She worked at a pace that suited me while encouraging me and making our sessions fun. Kate is a fabulous DM, always offering support and bags of energy. I cannot think of a better team to learn to dive with. Thanks again guys.

I have been on three PADI Speciality courses with the Cornish Diving School team. They are all friendly and nice people. The courses were all run well and made as fun as possible. Brought equipment from the shop attached as well and it's always been good. Had a few sea and pool dives which were always well conducted.

I had the pleasure of going out with Cornish diving centre on PADI international women’s dive day and what an amazing experience it was. It was my first dive in UK waters having only dived in the Red Sea and the Med before. I was apprehensive about the cooler water and extra wetsuit gear but turns out I had nothing to worry about. The girls were wonderful, calming and patient. Once we got into the water everything felt comfortable and the visibility was amazing, in fact it could have been the Red Sea. We saw a beautiful big sleeping dogfish at the start of the dive followed by spider crab, lobster, cuckoo wrasse, lion’s mane jellyfish, starfish... it was absolutely stunning, exhilarating and I couldn’t believe how beautiful our underwater world is here in Cornwall. Without a shadow of a doubt I recommend Cornish dive centre 100%. Thank you xx

I had a great day learning to dive a dry suit. Patient, friendly and enthusiastic team who helped me get comfortable and made me keen to give Cornish diving some proper exploration. Thanks for everything guys!
