My new bride and I tied the knot here at the start of the month and we couldn't have hoped for any more.

We fell in love with the place as soon as we arrived for our first visit and it never once let us down.

Don't expect fast-paced hecticness and hassling - it's a slower way of life down in those parts, and the relaxing nature of the place is hard to escape - but when it comes down to it the team we're on-point at all times. Will and Kim deserve special mention for their unbelievable efforts throughout the weekend.

All our guests loved it and we will most certainly be bringing some of them back with us over the next few years.

Thanks again for everything guys!

My best friend and I camped with our young daughters at the end of July. We had a wonderful 3 days, in and out the lake and kayaks, making fires and just enjoying the lovely sheltered wooded setting and being outside. We are coming back next year and want to catch fish and cook them on the fire pits!! Great setup - priceless memories!!!

I have never written a review like this, however this place was so so good.

Had a fantastic time here, definitely the best campsite I have been to and I've been to a fair few now. The campsite suits all ages and interests from chilling out and escaping busy city life to surfing at the local beaches to fishing at the on site lake.

I am impressed by the access to boats that can be taken out onto the lake (free of charge) as well as the fishing equipment available (also free of charge) which can be used at the lake catching fish which you can keep and cook on your own personal campfire at your tent/ Tipi.

On site is 'The Gastropub cafe' which is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on a Friday evening serving home made pizza's at 6 p.m. the guys and gal at the cafe were really friendly and helpful, giving useful local knowledge as well as serving some delicious pizza' s.

The area around the site is full of short car journeys to other local attractions and places to eat also, such as Port Isaac where there are beautiful views of the coast and 'The old school' a very nice place to eat particularly for breakfast.

Another short journey is Polzeath where there is a beautiful beach, tasteful shopping and surf rental facilities.

And finally a big thank you to the friendly, professional and hospitable Jon at Cornish Tipi holidays who is the on site manager. He fixed any issues we had and tended to all needs.

Overall I will be visiting again in the near future and would recommend to anyone interested in camping any time soon.
