What a great experience, fronted by a really knowledgable and fun team. The wild camping was a blast, from the bushcraft skills and learning to make a fire from scratch, right through to the delicious venison cooked over the open fire and chilling with some drinks around the fire pit. Good work Cornish Wave on a top day :))

Went coasteering and wild camping yesterday with the guys and loved every bit of it. From start to finish we felt at ease, supported and encouraged. For some, the jumps could be daunting and a bit scary but each of the guys helped us throughout, we didn't feel pressured or rushed we felt safe and secure and with each jump more excited to do it. The facilities were brilliant and everything was provided. It's definitely not just for the guys either, three girls and we each had a brilliant time and thoroughly recommend it to anyone of any ability and age, to be surrounded by the beautiful coastline of Newquay and it being a sunny day topped it off!The wild camping experience was on another level, the time and effort put in was evident with every bit of detail accommodating for all of us. Even a cool little toilet and mirror for the girls was an added touch! The games were so much fun and so quirky with the axe throwing and the balance tight rope to name just a few. We had a chance to do some bush craft and start our own fires which was awesome and not something you get to do everyday! The food cooked was delicious over the fire pit we were lucky enough to try some venison as well, there were handmade benches and stools for all of us to sit on and chat around the fire and enjoy the rest of the evening. Dazza went out of his way to find sticks and make a support for us to toast marshmallows! The tents looked cosy with the fairy lights inside and super cool. Dazza you've done a sick job! All in all an amazing experience we didn't stop laughing and came away saying how good it was! Cheers guys , massive thanks to Jey! ��

Went Coasteering with these guys and it was great. Brilliant instructor, going into details about technique that instructors elsewhere had missed. Great changing facilities and equipment. Coasteering is really good fun and Newquay is a great place to do it.

We had an awesome weekend in Newquay for a stag do. We did wild camping on Friday night followed by a surf lesson and coasteering on Saturday. Jey and Dazzer who run this are brilliant and pitch the pace and tone of the weekend perfectly and have a really good set up in the woods. The guys clearly know what they are doing and you feel really confident and safe doing coasteering which is a great experience. I would class myself as not being particularly great with heights but still completed all the jumps.

I would highly recommend this experience for a stag/hen weekend or a team build/group event and will definitely be returning at some point. Thanks for a brilliant weekend �

We booked online in advance for a couples surfing lesson with Jey on Newquay beach and I’m so glad we did.

Jey was a brilliant instructor and ensured we spent the majority of our time in the water having a go and building confidence. He taught us in easy stages, which we could then get out and practice. I feel now that after 2 hours with him I would be happy to rent my own equipment and have a go improving on what he taught.

A genuinely encouraging instructor who put us both at ease and overall we had a really enjoyable session in the sea!

Myself and a small group of friends went Coasteering and Wild Camping at the weekend and had an amazing time.

We were all feeling very anxious about Coasteering at the start of the session, but Jey and his team put us at ease. The instructors had excellent knowledge and were very experienced which made us feel extremely safe during the session. There was absolutely no pressure on any of us to jump from great heights but the option was always there if we wanted to, the staff were extremely supportive and encouraging which contributed to our very positive experience. Whilst we were Coasteering we had the opportunity to take in the beautiful views of Newquay and our instructors gave us a great insight about the history of the Cornish town.

In the evening we went Wild Camping, this was a truly fantastic experience and I cannot recommend this enough. Dazzer and Jey have both done an amazing job at creating a natural yet homely camp in the woods of Trispen.

We engaged in lots of fun games and activities, Cornish Smite, axe throwing and log rolling just to name a few. We also had the opportunity to engage in bush crafts (lead by Dazzer the expert) and made a fire which kept us warm and cooked our delicious food provided by the team at Cornish Wave.

The Cornish Wave team really looked after us to ensure that all of our needs were met and we were able to have the best possible experience.

I really cannot recommend this company enough and can't wait to have a surf lesson in the summer!

My friends went coasteering with J and Daz i joined initially to take some picture before going to my surf lesson with Ben.

For the coasteering J and Daz were very professional, funny and full of historical stories of the area.The 5 friends of mine who did it had a lot of fun. My surfing lesson with Ben was great It was a 1 to 1 one, so he has really focussed on my techique while being positif and fun.Thanks to the dedication i manage to rectify my postures very quickly.I can not wait to go back.Even the receptionist was super friendly and wanted to make sure that i found my friends from the coasteering who finished earlier than me =)

My 13 year old daughter had a great surf lesson with Jey! She loved every minute! Easy to book via email & phone. I only contacted Cornish Wave the afternoon before and they responded straight away.

Jey is very knowledgeable and felt v safe sending my daughter off into the sea with him.

We will definitely be returning and hope to try out some of the camping or coasteering activites that Cornish Wave offers.

Just got back from a weekend coasteering and surfing. It was a fantastic weekend! The instructors were really friendly and supportive, they could tell I was extremely nervous about the coasteering, as were my friends, but we managed to complete it all and thoroughly enjoyed it.

The instructors were really patient too when teaching us to surf and pushing us onto wave after wave.

We are already working out when we can go back next year and with a larger group.

Cannot rate this highly enough.

Jey and Daz were very professional and on top of being best, most caring surf instructors, coasteering guides and campsite hosts and we felt very safe and in a great company at all times, had so much fun doing all the water activities, even though we're all beginners. My two girlfriends and i could not believe what a top level service it was for us over the weekends coming down from London to Newquay for Cornish Wave. How stunning the campsite we got to stay at has really exceeded what we'd expected - very functional, comfy, beautiful and a very romantic spot in the forest short drive away from the coast. leaving this review to thank them in addition to the million thank you's we were saying when leaving, can't wait to come back on our next trip.

Jay is a absolute legend, as are all the guys from Cornish wave. I just booked in the shop on the day. It was so easy and chilled out. Super friendly people. Jay only had me booked in and made it such a amazing experience. Challenging me whilst always making sure I was having a absolute stoked time. Always keeping my safety paramount. Not only teaching me about the landscape but also some history. Such an amazing way to see the coast of Cornwall and would 100% do it again and a again. No matter your ability in the water, I can guarantee anyone and everyone would have a absolute blast. Worth every penny. Thanks legends!

I'm a total beginner and have never surfed or jumped off anything except for stairs in my life. This was a really fun experience - I felt that there was a good balance between the thrill of doing something new and challenging but also feeling safe at the same time. Met some fun people and despite the weather, Newquay had some amazing views! Would definitely do it again :)

I totally loved coasteering and surfing with Jey and Dazz! They were very professional and supportive. Coasteering was such fun, we climbed the rocks, swam in the ocean and jumped from the cliffs! I came just by myself but we were all getting so well along that it was like having fun with friends :) I loved it so much! And my first ever surfing lesson with Dazz was also great. Dazz was very helpful and patient and even though I'm far from the most talented student, the whole experience was awesome! If I'm back to Newquay one day, I will definitely go back to Cornish wave! Thank you guys!!!!

I had such an amazing weekend Coasteering and Wild Camping with Cornish Wave! I had never been coasteering before so I was a complete beginner and slightly apprehensive but the expertise of the Cornish Wave team put me at ease. Jey and his team were so approachable, they made sure that myself and the group I was a part of felt comfortable and supported. There was a great atmosphere throughout the coasteering session with some very interesting stories about the coastline and local area. The team provided our group with loads of jumps, and I never once felt pressured to do a jump if I thought that it was too high this time. This was such a great team building activity and the positive and fun atmosphere created by Jey and the team meant that everyone was able to feel relaxed and have a really good time.

After our coasteering session we had the Wild Camping experience in the evening which was incredible. The set up of camp looked beautiful, with the bell tents, activity corner, camp fire area and fairy lights, it looked like something from a magazine! We played some woodland games such as Axe throwing and Cornish Smite, Slack Line walking was a personal favourite. Dazzer was on hand to teach us how to start a fire and to show us around the camp. He even provided some super helpful twigs to hold our marshmallows whilst they were toasting on our fire! We had such a fantastic day, and we could not stop talking about it at work the following Monday, so much so we are planning to bring our department to another Wild Camping evening. I had a fantastic long weekend with Cornish Wave that included three surfing lessons and coasteering (which I didn't plan for initially). I've had a few lessons before and I'm not especially confident in water so Dazza kept that in mind and tailored the tuition to my needs. At the end of those lessons I was enjoying surfing green waves and was feeling very relaxed in the ocean. I also did the coasteering in a small group - Jey and Dazza made it very entertaining, progressive and safe. Overall, great value for money - I'm already planning my next visit to Newquay which will certainly involve Cornish Wave - no need to look anywhere else!

From start to finish the guys at Cornish Wave completely smashed it! Great hosts, great activities and great fun. Jay, Daz and Adrian taught us how to mount the waves like sea turtles and coasteer, before off to play games and BBQ in a beautiful campsite in a secret location. Everything was planned to perfection and we were in awe of everything we saw and did. Didn't know what to expect, but definitely exceeded all expectations and more! Couldn't think of a single fault the whole weekend. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a weekend of adventure in a beautiful seaside town. Keep up the good work guys! Daz and Jey were incredible hosts/instructors. I could not fault a single part of the weekend. What they have done in the woods is remarkable. The wild camp experience far exceeded my expectations and had something for all levels of experience whether it be a first time camper to a camping veteran. We had a little bit of rain at the wild camp but this didn't dampen any spirits as there was more than enough shelter and a lovely fire to keep us warm. The bell tents were a delight and a very comfortable nights sleep too!



The Coasteer was just the icing on the cake - despite any reservations about doing it, Daz and Jey made everyone feel relaxed and at ease. They had a perfect balance of being friendly and professional and made everyone feel that they had achieved something really special.



I could not recommend Cornish Wave more. I look forward to returning for more adventures soon!

Coasteering with Jey and Dazzer was the highlight of our holiday! We wouldn't hesitate to join them again and would thoroughly recommend them. They introduced both us and our girls (aged 6 and 8) to coasteering on the beautiful Cornish coast. We enjoyed their company and felt very safe at all times, whilst also feeling the thrill of the sport. Jey and Dazzer made our girls feel so safe and confident that they turned into proper dare devils!!

Awesome weekend surfing, coasteering and camping. Jey and Dazza offer a whole new spin on the Newquay surfing experience, with a weekend package that takes you from the waves to the wilderness. Patient and practical surf instruction helped take my surfing to the next level, coasteering was an injection of pure adrenalin as we leapt from cliff edges into the surging sea, then we spent a chilled out evening around the campfire and sleeping in bell tents in a secret woodland location. Thanks Jey and team :-)
