Cornwall Marine Academy is dedicated to introducing young people to the marine sector via an array of exciting marine related activities and courses.

The opportunities are designed to give a great insight into the workings of the industry, often delivering industry recognised qualifications. In addition, they have been developed with employers to ensure that young people are actually trained in the skills required by industry. All courses can lead on to further learning, apprenticeship schemes or direct employment in the sector.

Cornwall Marine Academy is a collection of employers and business networks, closely supporting our academy team who work with schools, colleges and marine sector delivery partners to provide, organise, subsidise or fund marine training. And because employers are involved from start to finish, it means there are natural connections to the world of work – making securing a job easier on completion of courses.
