Many of us painstakingly attend to our physical health while ignoring the very organ that makes us who we are. We all have mental health, it's time to start looking after it!
Male suicide is the single highest cause of death for men under the age of 45, yet we are still less likely than women to access psychological therapies or to even talk about our concerns.
While researching male mental health, I was struck by the sheer number of generalisations and untruths that are out there. Each and every one of us is different and I feel that's something to be celebrated. Sometimes we feel strong, sometimes we feel weak, sometimes we feel assured, sometimes we have no idea who we are - we are human.
Whether you have a story to tell or a question to ask, it's all welcome here. Life, relationships, worries, sex, identity, culture, body image, advice - the only requirement is that you leave bravado at the door.
I will be sharing promotional information as well as my own stories, and in the future there will be associated events.
