We ate here on the 29th April, Amazing food and plenty of it very reasonable priced staff friendly well worth a visit, will definitely be back best place I've eaten in for a long time, waiting staff were very friendly and helpful!!!

Ok, it's not a Michelin star, romantic, "Brown nosing" restaurant. It's a busy all you can eat buffet.

It's not the greatest food ever in the universe but it's a hell of a lot better than a lot of places.



I've found the staff pleasant and efficient.

If you just want to be able to get on and enjoy LOTS of food then this is the place.

You want the "moon on a stick" then go to one of those over priced pretentious restaurants.

Seated before our booked time. Bought drinks from the bar when we got there so had our glasses for free refills. Great selection of food. Seemed fresh. No rush at all. Hot and plenty of it. Really enjoyed the chinese and indian selection. Really enjoyed the evening and will be going back again

My daughters and I were visiting from Canada and taken here by my mum. We all loved the range and quality of food, plenty for all including one vegetarian. Very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend it and will return for sure.

My & my family have visited today for my early birthday get together. Cosmo is a very nice, modern, clean place, located in a nice area of Sheffield, there's lots of food to choose from I couldn't make my mind up what I wanted! The quality of food was excellent & the staff were very friendly & professional. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Lovey place , very clean , the staff were excellent they couldn’t do enough for us , the food was amazing only down side I ate far to much, the boys loved it , it was great for them to walk around and choose their own food. The atmosphere was great no need to tell the boys to be quiet or sit still. We will definitely go back.

Love Cosmo's! Fantastic range of food, Indian, Chinese and roast beef! The chicken tikka masala was cooked great, the colour going through the chicken. Good atmosphere and great setting right next to the peace gardens

Icecream fridge needs to be colder, also glasses for pop need to be brought alot earlier not half an hour after asking several times.

Not much room getting between tables.

As for the rest.

The food was pretty good, the wife had squid and salmon freshly cooked for her, I had sushi never had it before doubt I will again.

A little smaller than Nottingham and Doncaster which wasn’t a problem but chairs and tables were crammed in; not much room to walk between the rows and had to really tuck under when sat at your table which spoilt it just slightly �

Been here several times the food is nice....not enough plain food too much spicy food. We went on 27th August for Grandson's birthday meal,when being seated was told there was enough room for 16!! Yet they had to add another tablemail and we had to go looking for cutlery. On leaving I went to use the disabled toilet to say it was dirty is an understatement. ....there was old urine on the underside of the seat and and the floor was wet.The toilet brush holder was absolutely filthy and the brush too....and there was no toilet tissue (good thing I always have some in my bag) I do have photographs. Any restaurant should always keep their toilets in a clean condition. The 4* is for the food the star rating would be 1* for the toilets

Somebody needs to show the chef how to boil brussel sprouts e.g. cross on bottom.



The sweet selection though is very good and it is not one for those who goto Weight Watchers.

I went last night after the spa with friends, when we arrived after being seated we went for some food but there were no plates I had to ask someone to fetch some which took 5 minutes by which time there were loads of hangry folk waiting for them, I decided id like some roast beef but there was no one at the counter so had to walk about again to find someone to carve the joint which ended up being big lumps with gristle and a really weird taste certainly not beef....maybe some other animal but not cow.... then I paid a for a bottle of wine that was labelled pinot grigiot but that again was debatable...I'm thinking Iwont be rushing to return......lots of folk working there but not many of them actually doing anything...

I didn't see a chocolate fountain. In fact I didn't see much of anything other than Indian and Chinese. The carvery station was empty. There was no pizza left. Got fed up of going back so gave up. The Dessert counter had empty cake bases so didn't get any of that either. Certainly won't be going back. Very expensive for what we had.

Food was ok but had so many people waiting for the chocolate fountain so I just walked away without any sweets.

I found that a time limit was put in place and I felt rushed and every 5 mins I was asked if everything was OK by staff and all I wanted to do was eat my food and to be left alone and if I needed someone I would ask.

The desserts were terrible, a slop of gateaus that looked like they'd been under lights? Soft popcorn and melted ice cream tubs.My toddler had great fun building with the Jelly squares though.

Food wasn't fantastic but I guess you get what you pay for.

We were with my disabled mother, she started walking out of the door slowly with the rest of the family whilst myself and father were paying, three staff ran out to confront them about payment until radioed through that we'd paid.

Definitely won't be going again.

Horrendous experience today at Cosmo. Added a hidden service charge to our meal despite the fact it’s a self-service restaurant and we’d already been quoted a per head price when we reserved the table for 12. When this was questioned the cashier said “it’s not that much more money.” She then relented and agreed to remove the service charge. Whilst she was waiting for her manager to make an amendment to the till halfway through the payment process, another staff member used the till system and exclaimed “oh no!” - we can only assume she had cleared the previous transactions our group had already paid. The cashier was clearly confused by this point as she had to ask us to confirm who had already paid and who had not. Once everyone paid their share, we were then followed out of the restaurant and told there was an outstanding payment of £21! They had not removed the service charge after all and believed one in our party had not paid. This is categorically untrue. The manager demanded the outstanding payment and one of my friends agreed to pay it so we didn’t have to wait for them to check the cctv. He has a young child and was parked on the street as he had to come back after we were told there was still money left outstanding. Whilst Cosmo have agreed to check their till and refund him if they have made a mistake I suspect it will be very difficult for them to be certain of this. Overall this has been an atrocios dining experience where our group were criminalised and made to feel like we were trying to scam the restaurant. It was very clear that the cashier staff were poorly trained and incapable of handling a large party of 12. I can accept that but I cannot accept the suspicious attitude from the manager who chose to not use his discretion and instead opted to treat us as criminals and take more of our money when it was clear we needed to leave and couldn’t wait for them to check their CCTV. We have since received a phone call in which the management have admitted they made a mistake with the size of our party. This is very odd given we had made an advance booking of 12. Overall this was a Ldn extremely embarassing and humiliating experience. I look forward to the management response to this omnishambles.
