The Cosmopolitan Hotel is situated in the heart of Leeds City Centre. Although one of the oldest hotels in Leeds our bedrooms and public areas are modern and contemporary and cater for the today’s traveller whether on business or leisure.
We offer a personal service with unique bedrooms that differ in size and shape but all offer modern facilities that will ensure you have an enjoyable stay with us. We don’t offer just another hotel bedroom that is the same wherever you go in the Country, we offer a warm friendly service with a unique bedroom product.

We had our xmas party at the cosmopolitan again this year & yet again had amazing service! Can not thank you guys enough for the event it was incredible!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Impressive accessible room, well appointed and a bed I wish I could have smuggled out - very comfortable indeed. Add a good breakfast, and all in all a very happy stay. Wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.
Twice we've stayed here. Brilliant price, great location, discounted parking..nice clean rooms.
This morning we were unfortunately Woking up by the window cleaner. On passing by a made a joke of it to recpition. As we didn't find too a big of a deal. Anyway the recpition took it serious enough and our parking was complimentary. Which we thought was fantastic.
Love this hotel and can't wait to visit again.
I had to rearrange my booking with this hotel, both with the number of guests and extended check out time and they couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Definitely recommend for customer service.

Went last night to Throwback Thursday event and had a fantastic night! The food was lovely and staff very friendly. There had been a bit of an accident with a wine bucket at our table which had left a bit of a damp patch on the table cloth - one of the staff came to apologise and gave us a free bottle of wine!
Stayed for two night with partner and friends. Very clean and tidy hotel. Staff very friendly. Rooms good and great king size beds. Stayed three times previously and would always recommend it.
Stayed for 2 nights recently. Overall was a good stay, staff were accommodating--the ceiling fan was not very powerful and the room was like a sauna so the staff found us another fan. Didn't eat in the restaurant or have breakfast so can't comment but they looked well priced and decent portions from what I saw. Didn't use the bar either but purely as the drinks were not the kind we would be wanting. Rooms were comfortable and clean.
Lovely helpful staff, clean and an enjoyable sleep..earplugs provided :) but what can you expect in a very busy part of Leeds. Was not a problem...great breakfast....
Not keen on room door knobs...a bit awkward for the elderly...shiny and round....
But would recomend...

Sunday 13th may 2018 Went to the cosmopolitan for afternoon tea bought as a gift for my sister by her friend I was totally disappointed website looked fantastic the first girl who greeted us n sat us down was clearly too busy n didn’t seem to have time the food definitely wasn’t worth the money the cake n scones were ok but the sandwiches well what sandwiches I know they r finger sandwiches but it was appalling the second girl who came to refill our tea pots was lovely n nothing was too much trouble definitely wouldn’t go again n definitely wouldn’t recommend the cosmopolitan either totally disappointed
Last night on the 27/12/17 myself and my partner stayed at your hotel in Leeds to celebrate our 1 year anniversary.
We chose this hotel as it looked lovely on the website, when we got to our room we were very disappointed!
The room was tidy but not clean, first impression as we walked in, the door was cracked near the handle, there were marks all over the walls, wall paper handing off, cobwebs coming from the ceiling, a big burn mark on the dressing table, the lights above the bed didn't work, one of the plug sockets next to the dressing table sparked when I turned it off. The panel around the bath was all rotted, there were black dots of dirt on the bathroom wall! And dust everywhere.
I am really upset at the room as I feel the rooms shown on the website are not how the room looked when we arrived, we wanted a really nice hotel to celebrate our anniversary and instead it was dirty, out dated and needs a lot of attention! On checkout, the lady we handed our key into, didn't even ask us how our stay was.
Dust on reachable surfaces disgusting. Damp in room with wallpaper hanging off the wall...Bathroom that smelt of what I can only describe as a public toilet...i only wish I could add photos and videos to back up My review.. zero air conditioning so we were at the mercy of the hotel heating!! My partner ended up having a cold shower due to the fluctuations of water temperature in the bathroom. 78 pound a night i(£59 a night on receipt)is way too high for this hotel. I would of got a better room at premier Inn or Travelodge for cheaper but thought this hotel would be better..... how wrong I was!!
Terrible hotel. Faulty Towers comes to mind. Money spent on reception but rooms are diabolical. Mind you don't trip on the ripped carpets. Watch out for the missing secondary glazing. Very noisy outside. Don't pay on check in so at least you have the option to leave! Food greasy and overcooked. Best thing about this hotel is leaving....
