Costa Coffee

Just got back from meeting a friend at Costa, Bowness, probably won't go again!
Long wait being served for tea, coffee, croissant and bacon roll, despite 3 members of staff! Apparently ...till was playing up, thus we were asked 4 times for our order!!! Then they forget to bring the croissant, had to be reminded, gave us no napkins and then the almond croissant was dry and inedible! Bacon was fatty and bun just cheap.
Finally, a large sun umbrella outside fell down in the wind narrowly missing a customer!! Staff had to be fetched to help! If l ran my business like this l would have gone bust years ago, time to pull your socks up Costa!

Always good. Always a high standard. Preferred high street coffee chain. Very tasty snacks too. Very good and comfortable atmosphere.

Awfully slow. Love Costa normally but the place was only a third full and queued for ages to be served. Staff were pleasant, looks pretty clean but smoke from terrace blows back inside, not so pleasant.

Staff shortage huge queues and only two members of staff out front. Staff very pleasant considering the stress people walking!!...

Nice staff, early doors visit on a Thursday and they were happy as ever. New coffee machine speeds things up.

Very crowded branch. Costa is Costa, same coffee, same taste, same cups as every other of the millions of Costas around the country ... which isn't itself a bad thing, at least they are consistent. In smaller towns like this one though maybe think about supporting a locally run cafe instead.

Kept moderately well, but coffee was average.

I was here a week ago and since my last visit here in Nov 2016 they have had a change in staff. Which I think will help get them back on track again. It's always very busy here and dogs are welcome but in the only outside seating area. Free WiFi available too

Bought a Americano, it was too weak..upon complaining, manager made another one, but it was still the same. The coffee machine doesn't look like it has cleaned for a while, it drips rather than flow. Hope someone train the shop employees how to handle the machines.
