Costa Coffee

Extremely busy, so slow service we had 2 of your Christmas drinks a hot chocolate and a latte and they were ok but not brilliant, the most disappointing thing was they were barely warm but we didn't have the time to que up and hotter drinks or complain.

Our favourite coffee house . Downside we spend 6mths abroad & not a Costa in sight .

I used to love it in there but it is not wheelchair accessible

Order consisted of 1/ Hot chocolate with Marshmallows- Two staff members pulled faces towards each other when my son pointed out there was no marshmallows in the cup.
2/ Decaf Mocha in a take out cup - Female member of staff took exception when she made it in a normal cup and was asked to change it.
3/ I asked for serviettes because there wasn't any and was promptly told 'YES THERE ARE' in a condescending tone until I showed her there wasn't.
4/ The members of staff then continued to look at us through the gap in their counter making us feel very uncomfortable.

Visited numerous Costa coffees to date and never felt the need to comment.

It is very busy here during peak times.

The coffee is as you would expect from a Costa store. Inside the interior is very nice, in a historic building down the High Street of the town.

It gets busy here, and because of the baristas working it can get loud. There is free wifi so it can be a good place to work or to check your emails etc.

I personally wouldn't recommend this location for coffee as there are other coffee houses in Braintree for better value / and or experience.

Very slow service. No chance of a quick coffee break

Staff very rude turn there back on u and walk away when your talking to them never felt so up set will never go back in there or recommended the place and the girls name was jodie if she was my staff would have sacked her

Shop goes back a long way and is quite cosy. Sometimes it feels a bit dark and occasionally we have felt a draft but its a social place.

Ok place. Nothing special. Polite staff. As like all Costa places, prices are getting a little high as like Starbucks, but the coffee is better.
