Costa Coffee

Don't like the refurbishment at all - though that's a national thing. They've got rid of all the comfortable seating and opted for flimsy chairs set out in less efficient groups. But the killer - and this is something specific to this store - is the slowed down service. The refurb installed a second till which should speed things up but but the queues have got longer.

i visited this store today and was very disapointed, the whole transaction took place without one word from the assistant, i asked for a mint tea a caramel latte and a cookie i was not asked what size latte(i was given a large one), i was not informed of the total price i looked at the card machine and paid for the order. the manager was next to the assistant and i said she does not speak, the manager said she is in another world. not a good visit. till sale 154697

Service has certainly gone down hill, since last year it feels like it's on a go slow. It's the typical Costa just slowed right down, I'm not surprised that muffin break is now doing so much better over the road, with no queue it shouldn't take 10 minutes to make 2 coffee's
New decor looks good and I'm sure it will last years as it's empty most of the time.

Niped in to Costa Workington for a cooler 1st order came cooler was like water especially after a sking for it to be extra thick took them back I don't have cream on mine put cream on and looke they took it off as trases of cream in beaker. Plus side quite clean after refurbishment

Amazing! Come here all the time. Lovely staff and great service!

Door propped open in the middle of March flooding the place with cold air while people are trying to enjoy hot drinks and food.This is a very basic customer service failing and easy to put right. And yet it was deliberate. Done by staff staff to get tables and chairs inside but that doesn't take 50 minutes in stops and starts. Entire visit ruined. I'll go back to Muffin Stop.

Excellent coffee. Good location and attentive staff.
