Costa Coffee

Staff are friend and coffee is good and so are the coolers! Always clean and once you get past the price enjoyable place to go.

Staff are atrocious. Wrong drinks served.... and then tried to deny and argue when i corrected them. You would hope "hot chocolate" does not sound like " Americano" or look like one.
I totally appreciate they serve repeat orders all day. I have no issue with a wrong order, if they just say oop's and correct it. I dont need an apology.

But in this store the staff are obviously always right (??). Here they basically start an argument. The couple and an old lady in queue directly behind me where speechless.
Very very stropy couple of girls and 1 guy. All more interested in chatting between themselves ( work paused at this point even though very long queue ).
Once served we sat down and i spent the next 10 mins informing costa online complaints, which in light of events took some biting of the tongue.

Area manager .... please proceed direct to this store and re-staff urgently while you still have customers. Please ensure new staff have very basic customer service skills.

Food & coffee as you would expect from a chain, pleasant. Staff generally very friendly. What I do have a complaint about is the din caused by the staff, banging, clattering the kitchen equipment and one young lady clearing tables & chairs with such ferocity I thought she may break something. Unfortunately this made my visit a bit of an unpleasant experience when all I wanted was a place to have lunch & relax. I'll give it another go & just hope it was a one off.

Usual good coffee. The staff were very helpful and cheery. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because I didn't think it was that clean and the toilet was unpleasant.
