Cotenham Barn

We had a fantastic weekend and were made to feel very welcome by Jill, Phil, Jack and Jess the dog . Cotenham Barn is set in a quiet location with access to a public footpath (which passes at the edge of the grounds), taking you to Ranworth –  where you can sit with an ice-cream and watch the boat activity on the Broads. We hired canoes at Salhouse Broad and paddled to Horning. Here there are plenty of pubs to stop for refreshment on the water’s edge. Woodfordes Brewery is 5 minutes away with good food at the adjacent Fur and Feather Inn; a beer sampler is a chance to taste what’s on offer.

A lovely place to relax in beautiful gardens with a small wooded area as well. Super breakfast with homemade bread and jam and eggs from the 3 chickens that wander the garden during the day.

Thoroughly recommended!

Didn't feel as welcome as I have done in previous B&B experiences. Good breakfast but poor hospitality overall.
