⭐️ Phoebe ⭐️ - While we don’t celebrate default medals, Phoebe’s performance is a worth a mention. - Pheebs is often the highest grades junior on weekday classes and has made a massive leap in ability recently. On Sunday she fought up a weight, dominated the grip fighting and scored a takedown early.... - Unfortunately, she hurt herself during the round but put on a great fight. Even more impressively, the way she coached her younger sister through her fight showed what a great understanding she has for BJJ! - Well done, Pheebs! 👏

⭐️Matilda⭐️ - The most experienced of my juniors competitors displayed a significant jump in ability and maturity this weekend. - At 9 years old she entered two brackets; under 13 and under 11. In the U13 she launched her first opponent with a drop seoi nage, something we’d only really been drilling this week, and then maintained top control to win a silver medal. ... - In the under 11 she had one fight where she fought a very skilled guard player and showed excellent composure and a very smart game plan to gain a points victory and a gold medal. - Great job, Matilda! 🥇 🥈
