Join British Endurance Adventure Athlete and Cotswold Outdoor Ambassador Jamie Ramsay for an in-store talk on his 26,000km of human powered adventure in 26 countries. Jamie is currently undertaking 7 adventures on 7 continents and will be telling tales and talking through the kit he used for these challenges, primarily focussing on his recent summit of Aconcagua (6962m), 800km wilderness trek along the Hayduke Trail in Utah and his upcoming adventures - Running Iceland, Cycling Australia and Running Madagascar.

Who was out at the Vitality British 10K last weekend? There was some great weather and a lot of cheering out on the course. The new Brooks Running Glycerin 17s have dropped and they feel fast. An update on the 16s, the new shoes see an improved, breathable upper and a bit of tinkering in the midsole foam. They're still light and fast, great for the neutral runner.
We received our batch a few days ago and we've already sold some, so if you're after a pair then don't delay!

One of our staff members will be heading down to visit ReRun Clothing in a few weeks. ReRun is a great initiative which takes old running clothing and equipment and repurposes them. Did you know that 300,000 tonnes of used clothing goes to landfill every year?
Rerun save that clothing from landfill, work their magic and reintroduce it to the running community. So not only are they helping reduce the environmental costs of running, they're also helping people new to running g...et involved!
I'm sure many runners have loads of old race tees they were given at the finish line which they no longer use. If you'd rather see your old gear used for good and have a new life instead of sit in your wardrobe unworn, then bring them into the store over the next few weeks and we'll make sure they get to Charlotte and Dan of ReRun!

It's almost here, the one and only London Marathon. For some it's the biggest race of their life, for others the biggest of their season. On Sunday tens of thousands of people will start from Blackheath with 26.2 miles before them.
We don't advise getting any new gear this close to the marathon, but if you need to pick up some extra nutrition then now is the time to do it!
