Cotswold Swim School is an independent, nurturing, swim school offering fun and progressive parent and child swim lessons in Gloucestershire.
Highly qualified instructors support you and your child in the water to help build their confidence and learn to swim. All instructors are fully insured and DBS checked to give you peace of mind.
We are proud members of the Swimming Teachers Association, and follow the STA International Learn to Swim Programme. This fun and innovative programme consists of thirteen progressive awards designed to introduce babies from a few months old to the water, to learners 2 years + who will be working on their basic swimming skills. The STA Awards allow children to learn at their own pace and not only cover core aquatic skills but also incorporate key lifesaving skills.

Happy Father's Day to all our Dads! We have more and more Dads attending our classes, saying how much they enjoy the 1:1 time with their child and seeing their progress. Lots of enthusiasm and I think you even know most of our set songs by now!

Becky and her little mermaid have done these 'mummy and me' sessions several times now and loved it every time! Didn't realise how much fun it would be for the grown ups too :) Little ones can always jump on a woggle if getting tired. Also have shark tails for boys...

A keen swimmer herself, Jess started her daughter in lessons when she was just a few months old - now in our lively toddler group! Jess has 10 years of experience working in early years provision, and is looking forward to helping out in the pool, and finding out more about the world of baby and preschool teaching #loveswimming #lovetoteach

2 x spaces available in our Advanced Class - Saturdays @ 4.45pm at Gloucester Royal Hydrotherapy Pool.
This class is suitable for children aged 4yrs+ who are confident underwater, able to swim a short distance without aids, and want to build on their technique by mastering the different swimming strokes. As with all our classes there is still lots of time for fun on the raft, diving for sinkers and water games...
Children can swim in this class until their 6th Birthday. Parents come in too!

💦The benefits of swimming on our minds as well as our bodies is well documented. Swimming is the one physical activity where you fully immerse yourself, literally. Diving under the water is a great way to clear your mind of all those everyday stresses 💦
🏊♂️If you're an adult who hasn't 'swam' just for yourself since before your children (easily done) why not try an early morning lane session at your local leisure centre...
If you're a non-swimmer, we can recommend some great adult lessons in the local area. It's never too late!

This is a very different experience from swimming in a costume, with additional weight, drag and resistance.
💦🌟We have lots of fun during our Pyjama Weeks, which run as part of our Advanced Programme. Children in these classes have already mastered the fundamentals of swimming and are ready to experience the effect additional items of clothing has on their ability to swim.🌟💦
