Book riding lessons with us to brush up your skills or move on to a higher level!

Generations of children have learned to ride at Cottage Farm Stables - and many adults too! We offer lessons from beginners to advanced level - and many of our clients are 'adult returners', rediscovering the joys of riding after a long gap. Private lessons cost £25 for 30 minutes, and group lessons are £17 for an hour (please ask about rates for joint lessons for 2 or 3 people). Private /semi-private lessons can be arranged at times to suit you, and group lessons are 4. 30 on Friday afternoons and 10 and 11 on Sunday mornings. We're the closest riding stables to the centre of York - easily accessible by public transport and bike!
