Just popped. in on way home from a walk around West Kirby marina. And enjoyed a lovely coffee
Very pleasant seating areas.. Staff very helpful .Food looked tasty.
Will be returning another time .

Had evening meal today with family.
Haven't been for a few years & just went on the way back from West Kirby .
Lovely pub, good food - we chose from smaller menu -and a lovely waitress.
Will hopefully be returning 😃

A very nice pleasant place to be. Food, beers, and service by friendly staff with tasty food as well. What more could you wish for on a pleasant sunny evening, enjoy life, you can't take it with you.

We went here yesterday evening for the first time. My hubby and me, our 2 grownup children, my hubby's brother and the in-laws
It had been recommended and the food and service were superb and could not be faulted. Also good value for money and pleasant surroundings

Nice friendly pub nice staff clean and tidy

It's OK, food is reasonable, gets very busy early evening then very quiet later on. Service is very good. The beer used to be very good, but the cask ale quality has gone down the pan big-time over the last year or so, which smacks of poor cellar management. Its a nice place for a pint outside in the beer garden on a hot day, despite the close proximity to the main road.

Feb 2017. The good news is the cask ale quality has risen to something like its former glory (the Abbott ale), but still only 4 stars as still only two cask ales available - and one of those is the universally appalling Green King IPA.

Friendly service. Reasonably priced pub food in a nice country pub setting.

Warm, cosy, prompt service despite being busy, didn't try the food but it did look lovely!
