About Cotteswold Dairy
In 1938, Harry Workman founded Cotteswold Dairy Ltd when it was just a 30 gallon milk round. Harry grew the business by adhering to a strict policy of real service to the customer and top quality products.
Today, these values are still at the forefront of our business and it is because of this that we are thriving as an independent, 3rd generation family owned dairy in a very competitive market place.
The business is now managed by George Workman, Harry's grandson and employs over 300 staff and continues to employ many of the Workman family as well as several generations of other families.
Working with local dairy farmers means that we are able to supply the highest quality milk and dairy produce direct to your door and to wholesalers and retailers across our vast distribution area.
Whilst our main depot and head office is situated in Tewkesbury, we have three other depots where we operate from in order to get our products to a wide range of customers. In North Wales, we produce and supply the Dragon Brand, which means all the milk is sourced from our Welsh farms. From Shrewsbury we serve some of mid wales with our dragon brand and then Shropshire and the surrounding area with our Cotteswold milk and products. Our Cheltenham depot serves mainly retail and doorstep customers. Whilst there may be different locations we work closely together as a team being able to supply much of Wales and many parts of England.

To all our Doorstep Customers:
If you are not doing so already, please can you help our rounds-people by ensuring you give your returned milk bottles a good wash with soap and hot water before leaving them out for them to collect. Where possible please ensure they are left either outside or in an area of open access to prevent them from having to open doors etc. If possible, please can you leave gates open. If this is not possible due to children/pets etc then we will unders...tand.
