It might have ‘only’ been 28 miles but there were some killer hills that I had not prepared for. 1 hour 37 minutes, average speed of 17.2 mph. Couldn’t have done it any quicker if I tried. All those miles of training, backwards and forwards to the pharmacy have paid off. Thank you to all my sponsors, very kind of you all. I think I have raised more than £300 which has way exceeded my wildest expectations.
With Bank Holiday Monday next week, please see if you are running low on your medication. If you expect to run out of anything before next Tuesday, a week today, please get in touch to reorder your prescription. The very last day to order your prescription is TOMORROW. Despite the wonderful electronic prescription transfer system, it can still take 48 hours for surgeries to turn around the requests. The team at Cottinghams are looking forward hearing from you. We really do appreciate the support and kind wishes we get from our customers.
As our pharmacist is such a keen cyclist, he has enrolled on the Grimsby Bloodwise Bikathon to be held next month. If you would like to support Tim, who will be cycling the 25 mile route (without his trailer!) he will have a sponsor form available in the Pharmacy. He’s not looking for huge donations, even if 10% of our customers sponsored Tim for a £1, that would be very worthwhile indeed. There is also a JustGiving page too if you would prefer to use that. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/ti mothy-cottingham1 Tim would like to remind all of our cycling customers, he always wears a cycle helmet. Thank you
With one week to go before Good Friday and our Easter break - please check your medication and get your orders in, in good time. The Cotties Crew work hard to ensure everybody is looked after and a steady, even workload will ensure we can do that! We would like to ask you to bear with us at this busy time. Thank you in advance - Deb, Tim & the Cotties Crew x
Good morning Facebook Followers and customers- its that time of year when we ask for your feedback, with the Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire. When visiting the pharmacy, please pick up a survey and complete, whilst waiting for your prescriptions. Alternatively, if you have a delivery- we can send a questionnaire out with your next prescription delivery...... we strive to give a good service and feedback helps us to improve. Please ask in the pharmacy on your next visit .

Can anyone local to Cottingham Pharmacy help please? This gentleman, his daughter and family have had a huge influence in my life whilst growing up! Thanks in advance- Debbie T, Cotts of Wellyx
Good news. We have stock of both the under 65 and over 65 NHS flu vaccines. Stewart, our pharmacist for today is ready and waiting. Please make an effort to get in today if you can please. We need to protect as many vulnerable people as possible before Christmas.
Found in our pharmacy - a week ago. Would love to be reunited with his owner - otherwise will have to go to Blue Cross 😘 x
Monday’s are a great day to get your NHS flu vaccine in our pharmacy. These are available free to vulnerable groups such as those with asthma, heart disease, liver disease, diabetes, respiratory disease, and some other chronic conditions. Also free for full time carers, social care workers and those with a very high BMI. I’m afraid those over 65 will have to wait another week or so until our next batch of special flu vaccines arrives.

For some reason, we don’t tend to talk much about HIV any more, but this is a mistake. HIV remains a real issue and we would like to share this opportunity of HIV testing at Open Door in Albion Street
