Councillor Linda Oliver

Linda Oliver is the Conservative Somerset County Councillor.

We live in a beautiful area of the country and I am proud to work here on your behalf within Mendip District Council and Somerset County Council.

Since May 2013, I have worked with many constituents and am proud to have helped them as best I can. Issues I have helped campaign on have included planning and housing, fly tipping, traffic management, and campaigning to save local bus services from cuts. I have also supported both young and old in our community with projects that address loneliness, health inequalities, play areas and youth and community centres.

I work actively with the community all year round trying to resolve real issues for real people. You won’t see this in local newspapers. I avoid photo opportunities (and you’ll see there are few on this website). I pride myself in doing what I say I will do, seeing issues through to a conclusion for the good of the people concerned – just take a look at my testimonials which I hope speak for themselves.

I set a high standard for the way I do the job of representing your views and concerns. I am your voice and you can be assured I work extremely hard to make a difference on your behalf.
