Counselling Herts is an Organisation Which Provides Counselling for All.

Elaine Wright of Counselling Herts is dedicated to provide a confidential, non judgemental, empathic and safe therapeutic environment for her clients. She works to the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy ethical guide lines to ensure safe practise. The approach she uses is integrative, using Person-Centred, Psychodynamic and Mindful Cognitive therapies to offer clients a rich diverse way of working. She is based in a quiet country location in Gosmore Hitchin Hertfordshire.

Issues that may bring clients to counselling include: relationship difficulties, self esteem, anxiety, health issues, bereavement, stress, depression and alcohol and drug related issues.

Elaine offers short or long term counselling depending on the severity of the issue, for one to one, family and group therapy with an initial assessment during which the clients aims for counselling and the theoretical approach will be discussed along with the contract arrangements including: The length of the counselling sessions which are usually 50 minutes, confidentiality, appointments and cancellations and periodic reviews.

Elaine is a qualified counsellor and is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
