Counselling & Psychotherapy offers a wide range of therapeutic services to people in Sudbury and the surrounding areas.

Counselling & Psychotherapy is a counselling service offered by Sharron Sycamore (MBACP) who is a qualified Psychodynamic Counsellor and Psychotherapist and is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Qualified to be listed on the BACP Register of Counsellors and Psychotherapists Certificate No: 049245. I have an enhanced CRB /DBS. I use a psychodynamic approach to my work predominantly but I am also able to use integrative, humanistic, person centered and cognitive behavioural therapy approaches to my work as I believe the right approach should be adapted to meet the client's individual needs. I qualified as a counsellor in 2005 after completing my BTEC Professional Development Diploma in Counselling at Braintree College which was an accredited course by BACP. Having worked in the mental health setting for over 10 years I have worked with substance misuse and people with drug and alcohol issues. I have also run anger management groups and courses. As well as working with clients in private practice, I have also worked for South Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (SEPT), working with people suffering from anxiety, depression and phobia's. I continue to take part in regular training courses to further my continual professional development CPD. I offer a counselling and psychotherapy service to people in Sudbury and surrounding areas. This service is available for anyone of any age or background faced with any problem or issue, that they feel needs to be worked through within a therapeutic process, in a safe, neutral environment.
