Country Canines Dog Grooming Description

Regular grooming is an essential part of your dogs hygiene routine, helping maintain a healthy, shiny coat, it removes loose hair, dirt and helps prevent matting and tangles.

Country Canines provides a professional and bespoke dog grooming service from a purpose built salon based in the beautiful countryside of Cheshire for the needs of your canine companion.

Nothing but one to one attention, means Country Canines is a home from home, relaxing and safe environment for your dog.

We aim to make the process as stress free and enjoyable as possible and do not hold dogs all day, nor do we crossover clients where possible. With this in mind, please be prompt collecting and dropping off your pets.

Every pet that comes through our door becomes a member of the family. We pride ourselves on working with each animal as an individual, using positive reinforcement and patience to help them enjoy the grooming process and be as healthy as possible.

Our grooming equipment is of the highest possible standard including a veterinary standard bath and table to help avoid strain on the joints of bigger dogs and to assist the more elderly.

Country Canines is fully insured and OCN certified and qualified to groom your pooch so they will not just look and smell better, but will feel better too! If you have any questions about our dog grooming facilities, equipment or natural shampoos etc. please get in touch & we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

ūüźĺūüźĺDo you know what coat type your dog has? Are you using the correct brushes?ūüźĺūüźĺ
We've made a simple guide which breaks down the 5 main coat types and what tools/brushes and techniques are best to maintain them whilst all groomers are closed ūüź∂‚úāÔłŹ
ūüź∂ūüźēūüź©
... Also be aware that if your dog has Matt's/tatt's, bathing your dog without removing them will make it worse. So always try brushing them out first ūüėä
We're also sharing some links of where you can buy the equipment from ūüėä Sorry it's not the cheapest but alot is out of stock on Amazon!

We are very sad to announce that Country Canines Grooming is closed until further notice as of Monday 23rd March-it has been such a heart wrenching decision for us but in order for us to protect lives the Government is asking that we STAY AT HOME!
We hope that this is over sooner rather than later but it is such uncertain times so we will reopen our doors when it is safe to do so.
We have sent out emails to all our existing customers on how to care for your dog at home duri...ng this crisis so we hope you all find this helpful! When we return we will work together to get your dogs back to health!
To all our wonderful customers we ask you all to take great care over the coming week ahead and hope that it won't be long until we meet again in safer and more certain times!
Until then stay safe and stay home,
Love From All of the Country Canines Team x

Coronavirus (Covid 19)
We are closely following the Government advice and are still operational subject to change
In order to keep our staff, their families and our customers safe for as long as possible and continue to provide the best possible care for your dogs during Coronavirus (COVID 19) we have put some new protocols in place and ask that you please read the following before booking or coming in for an appointment:
... -We are currently now not permitting clients into the centre due to the corona virus guidelines: All dogs will be collected from outside of the building by us with one of our disinfected leads-please wait in your cars and we will be out to you when possible, We will then undertake the session without owners present. We will also return your dog back to you in the same manner & discuss at a 2 metre distance how your dog’s session progressed.
-Payments due can be by BACS or if you don’t have online banking via cash in an envelope left on the doorstep.
-We would ask that any clients with Coronavirus symptoms do not come to the centre at all during the recommended 14 days.
-If you or anyone in your household have been advised to self-isolate, please stay home and call us- Don’t worry We have temporarily lifted our 24 hour cancellation policy.
-Please remember to following hygiene advice from the government, wash hands regularly and use hand sanitiser in between times.
-Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment. This will help minimise numbers in the car park.
-We will continue to deep clean the reception and treatment rooms; floors, walls and handles and all of us are washing hands or using alcohol grub between patients and when picking up and returning them to you.
-For those worried about their pets contracting the virus, the World Health Organisation issued the following statement: ‚ÄėAt present there is no evidence that companion animals can be infected with the new coronavirus. However, it is always a good idea to wash hands with soap and water after contact with your pets. https://www.bsava.com/News/ArticleID/2691 /COVID-19-and-Pet‚Ķ
Thank you for your patience and understanding at this difficult time, we will keep you updated of any further changes that may occur.

<3 We are not a 'normal' groomers, we groom our dogs one on one so we can fully invest our time and attention in your dog, we assess any dislikes, or issues whether they be behavioural or physical and any differences from one groom to the next. So please book in advance as we are not the type of groomers that can fit your dog in the next day <3
