About Countrywide Falconry
We are a strictly private Falconry Centre, Visits are by invitation only, no casual callers are allowed.
Countrywide Falconry Description
Countrywide Falconry was opened in 1992 and was originally based on the Holwood Country Estate in Keston in Kent, which was the country home of Lord Wilberforce and William Pitt the younger.
In 2006 we moved to Mace Farm which is set in Wonderful Countryside.
At the centre we run various hawking and Owl experiences including half and full day hawk walks, these can be booked directly over the phone or through various voucher company's which use our services.
At the centre we have various owls including Eagle Owls, Barn Owls, Scops, Tawny and Snowy Owls,
If you like Falcons and Hawks, we have Harris Hawks, Retailed Hawk, Common Buzzard and Ferrugenous hawk.
All our experiences are hands on from the time of arrival, no classroom sessions and we cater for the ages of 8 to 80.
If you want something unusual such as holding a birthday party or a private visit, this can be easily arranged.

Where to begin? Not sure which was my favorite part.... The birds or Annette and Randel!!!! Fell in love with Tilley, however all the birds were so incredible. Cannot wait to book another Hawk Walk next time that we are in London. Everyone should take the time to book some time to hang out with these birds AND Randel and Annette!!!! Thank you SO much guys!!!! ⚡️��⚡️
The most fabulous birthday present from my husband. A morning out in the countryside with 3 beautiful Harris Hawks, having been shown by Randal how and why they had to be weighed and some background on falconry. We were privileged to see the birds in hunting mode - they took a pheasant. The afternoon was spent flying and interacting with owls. Finally meeting Petra the eagle. Randal has an incredible bond and relationship with his birds. I cannot recommend this enough. It is an experience that will stay with me and one to repeat.

Had a lovely day with my friend for her faconry experience. Birds are very well looked after and the owner is very friendly and knowledgable. Definitely recommend a visit.
Had a brilliant day yesterday with Randall and the birds. Randall was so informative and relaxed and we had plenty of time with the wonderful hawks out in the fields and wood, and then afterwards with the beautiful barn owl and tawny owl back at the centre. And little Chicu was an absolute darling, my cuddle with him could easily have ended with him in my pocket and on his way home with me � all in all a very enjoyable experience that I would highly recommend. Fantastic experience. To get so close to some stunning owls was brilliant. Randell had a incredible knowledge of the animals and we had a lot of fun. Came away instantly wanting to go back!
Annette and Randal are warm & friendly. Full of knowledge, trivia and stories. The birds are well-loved and they know it. They're intelligent, beautiful and comfortable around people. Jack the hawk is a character. An amazing experience.
