Today Coutts Childcare we took a photo of a vase of flowers and made a black and white photo to paint. We then mixed green, pink and yellow paints, with white paint to make pastels shades. The children matched the colours, to duplicate the flowers on the paper, we then cut the flowers and used these to make flower prints. Afterwards we made perfume by mixed the flower petals with water.

Another fabulous morning at the Delmores with Coutts Childcare
Today at Coutts Childcare we all sat down and looked at the 'Hungry catepillar', the children enjoyed looking at the bright pictures and answering questions based on the book. We then brought out colouring pages based on characters and objects in the story, the children then had the option to pick what they wanted to colour in and chose their favourite parts in the story.
Today at Coutts Childcare we sat down with the children and read 'My first book of the body'. We spoke about and showed each other where our facial features were, our body parts and even our lungs, heart and stomach. We talked about what we need them for and how they function and grow. The children were fully focused, pointing out body parts and contributing to our conversation.
