Calling all Paramedic students. Are you about to graduate? Paramedic Futures is a FREE careers event for all student Paramedics who are about to graduate and are exploring employment opportunities. As well as the conference, there will be an exhibition hall to give you an opportunity to meet employers from various NHS Ambulance Trusts and private sector health care service providers. This week some of our student paramedics took part in a high fidelity simulation day as part of their clinical decision making module. They worked as crews and were assigned to 6 different patients during their simulated shift. We saw some great teamwork, communication and leadership skills!
RTC awareness day at Canley Fire Station with our first year Paramedic Students - preparing them for their first placement
We were back at Canley fire station today with more of our first year Paramedic Science students. A great experience, thank you to Blue Watch @West Midlands Fire and Rescue!
Last week was a busy week of simulation for our first year students. They have been preparing for their Ambulance placement and OSCE’s with BLS and Clinical Assessment Scenarios. We also worked alongside West Midlands Fire and Rescue at an RTC simulation.
