we travel down to southend every 4 weeks or so,from milton keynes and always visit the sutton on a friday night,seen some great bands,hedgehog,expose and others,always a superb night out....see you all 2moz....

it was called fisherman's Inn before it become Sutton Arms am i Right if so Kate Dickinson MY Mum & Bob Dickinson MY Dad Worked in this Pub Back in the 1980's when i was 12 we all had a party and Reg Caton was the DJ

Was with No more heroes, great crowd lovely pub. Can't wait to go back again xx

The Sutton Arms, fast becoming one of the top 2, maybe 3 pubs in Southend - and there are dozens to choose from! Lovely Landlords, great staff, good bunch of friendly talkative locals and an excellent selection of beers. Plenty of live music nights to suit all tastes and it's central to everything else you need in Southend.

What more could you ask?

Love the ppl that run this pub n the ppl that visit regularly it was my man Andys birthday n they laid on a bbq for us n our friends got him a cake they r like the southend version of cheers ���

I've been to the Saturns arms for the last three Fridays to see live music. Each band has been really good and the atmosphere in the pub has been good too. Bar staff are really friendly and they serve Desparado at a decent price. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good night out and watch some live bands 😊👍🏻

Have so much love for this old place! Had some of my best nights here with friends watching some excellent bands. Yes it's rough round the edges,but don't let this put you off, it's all about the atmosphere and people. Hope to have many more great times here in the future :)

Had a great time there and the chef was amazing can't wait for kitchen to be open full time.

Had a fantastic night in the Sutton Arms. The bar staff were fantastic and the entertainment was brilliant. I would rate this pub as one of the best in Southend.

Great night, great friendly bar staff who always smile when they serve you no matter how busy. Fab bands and live music. Never any problems when I've been there. Thanks for another great fun evening.

Go most weekends at karaoke - last sun was there and had 18th celebrations for my daughter

Best live music venue in town and the beer doesn't cost the earth like all the others locally!! Great crowd every time I've been in and a couple of the staff are quite hot... which always helps!! �

it looks run down from the out side but don't be put off we had a fabulous end to the night the live band were amazing

It was a good night band was good but not really my choice of music but the beer was cold and went down very well will be back 👍👍😎😎🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
