Cowdray Ruins Description

Cowdray is one of Southern England's most important early Tudor courtier's houses, visited by King Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I. Partially destroyed by fire in 1793, its magnificent ruins are set within the stunning landscaped grounds of Cowdray Park, in the heart of the South Downs National Park.

Tickets are still available for the final guided tours of the season which takes place this Sunday at 10am and noon. The story of the site is brought to life by our expert tour guides. So far 32 tours have taken place.
