Outstanding luxury hotel with incredible food, gardens that are to die for and a spa set back from the main building which ensures no interruption to the relaxation on offer. Service from all the staff is impeccable and the views out across the grounds can captivate for hours. This is luxury with a capital L. They also do polo lessons for the adventurous types...
As a birthday treat, I was whisked away by my wife to Pennyhill on a one night deal they were offering. It is difficult to find fault with any part of our experience. The staff were polite but not intrusive, the room was beautifully decorated and the walk in shower was huge! ( Our room was called Poplar) I haven't got vast experience of spas but this was quite something. The highlight for me was the indoor pool. I don't think I've ever swum in a nicer indoor pool. It is infinity style complete with underwater music - about 25 metres in length. If you can be bothered to get up at 7.30am to use the spa, do so. There was one other person using all the facilities. I clocked up 40 lengths before the most amazing breakfast I think I've ever eaten. I can't wait to return.Absolutley love this place.
My partner brought me here for a surprise birthday lunch and I had the most fantastic time. We had lunch outside and coffee inside afterwards and had a wonderful time - the service was impeccable. Looking forward to coming back here again!
So relaxing, the Polo was really enjoyable to watch such a good day out. The food is out of this world, but the price does make it somewhere to go for that special occasion
Luxury from the start to the time you leave. Very attentive service. Worth a visit if you want something really special.
A hidden gem, well worth the trip from London into this little oasis. The food is sumptuous and the amenities are perfect. I can't wait to go back and try the spa!
We had afternoon tea here, the staff very very polite and friendly and the setting is lovely. Don't be afraid to ask for your choice of seat if it isn't busy. The food is remarkably good, I've never had scones or cakes like these before!
