Today starts the Inti Raymi festival in #Cusco, #Peru. Meaning ‘sun festival’ in Quechua, the language of the #Incas, they used to give offerings to the god of Sun by sacrificing livestock and llamas. Nowadays they re-enact the festivities and the ruins of #Sacsayhuamán become a theatre to tell the story.
