In April 2020 we are planning a luxury sewing retreat in Norfolk. This retreat will be three days (two nights) at a weekend - or 4 days 3 nights midweek- of pure sewing Bliss.
... Our second event of the year will be The Crafty Sewing Camp! Based at a fantastic location in North Leicestershire we’re creating and fabulous festival experience for sewists!

This has been on my make list for a while! Just finished a popover @closetcase.patterns #kalle in our gorgeous viscose. The quality of this fabric is a joy- it made what could have been a tricky, fiddly make very easy! The placket was made even easier using lightweight Vieline interfacing which was perfect for this fabric. I love the binding on the hem. Great pattern, great fabric 👍🏻 happy sewist! #fabric #viscose #tunic #maternitysewing

IT’S TONIGHT!!!! #thedressmakersball is finally here. Here’s a #throwback to some of the fun and beautiful outfits from last year! Can’t wait to see all you beautiful and talented dressmakers tonight!! Just a note- I am usually Mrs.Calm but even I have had a few wobbles about my dress and seeing/meeting everyone! So if you are feeling at all nervous please don’t be, we will be there to welcome you on the door and honestly the sewing community is the best most welcoming ever! If you are coming by yourself just let us know when you arrive and we’ll be happy to introduce you to some other lovely people. We’ve also reserved a table for you so you can sit with other solo travellers 😁 hope everyone has safe travels! We’d love to know where you’re coming from...

Wow, what an exciting day! We had a really fun and action packed jeans workshop today! Sarah and Tracy helped these super sewists make 5 pairs of gorgeous jeans including 2 #morganjeans , 1 pair of #gingerjeans , 1 pair of Thread Theory Designs, Inc. #jutlandpants and some fab Cashmerette #amesjeans complete with belt loops, bar tacks and rivets! Star maker award goes to Paul (Not photographed) who had only made one garment previously (in his last workshop with us!) Want to make jeans too?
