A relaxing site. Nice and quiet, with everything you need within a five minute drive.

Nice place gets busy at times but when it's quiet it's lovely rabbits and peacocks running around all the caravans

This is a lovely family run site by the Cunningham's who put their life and soul into the place. It has a touring park with excellent facilities and a static caravan park including the top class Riverside Retreat. In the last 12 months the site has added the Steakhouse restaurant which was formerly an old unused pub. The family have renovated it to a lovely standard and it now adds a great facility to the site. There are facilities for the children and some brilliant walks close by. The site is at the edge of Teesdale and the Durham dales with some stunning countryside. Well worth visiting this site if you are a tourer and a great place to have a more permanent holiday home.

a pleasant enough site nice n quiet with new toilet block n plenty to keep kids occupied .... however the onsite newly refurbished pub didnt open with no explanation on saturday nite ....went into nearby village Evenwood what a dump nothing init nothing open except the bay horse pub it made the jockey from shameless look posh defo wont be going back but that said some nice walks in and around the area !!
