Crake Valley

Lovely small very quiet park , hill behind must be climbed for the view . Just lacking some facilities for kids but of your looking for quiet this is the place .

Very peaceful site. Close to coniston. Enjoyed our break here.

Nice friendly and quiet

Ransome Lodge, Crake Valley - this must be the best lodge in this charming, hide-away haven. Stunning views out of every window, in the heart of the Lake District and on the tip of Lake Coniston (10 minute walk). Beautifully laid out and equipped with one's every need, both inside and out, comfortable Ransome Lodge is more than home from home. For sailing, canoeing, exhilarating walks, birdwatching and quiet times at 'home'. Peaceful and perfect. We look forward to our next visit. Thanks A and H.
