CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY The body is complex structure. It takes a lot of knocks and bangs over life. Every time we are hurting somewhere, our body adapts it's posture to take the pressure off that area. Sometimes we don't quite let go of those compensations once the hurts are gone. We may only feel a difficulty in one part of our body, but internally that issue may sometimes be caused by a number of tensions, micro-tensions and nano-tensions, stretching in assorted directions fr...om (a lifetime of) compensations that our bodies have never quite forgotten. With the craniosacral touch, the body starts re-expressing these often very hidden tensions. Often they're subtle, sometimes not. My job is to meet those tensions without any judgement. The tensions make themselves felt for a short while, and then just dissolve! It feels like...forgotten buried hurts absorbing aknowledgement and then dissolving away. Clients are usually only subtley aware of any tensions going on, but the releases often leave them in a deep state of relaxation.
