Research by Dying Matters shows that 37% of people would be willing to volunteer for a local hospice!
This means if we only looked at the population of Kettering alone, we'd have almost 35,000 volunteers! Imagine the impact that would have on Cransley Hospice!
If you'd like to enquire about current volunteering opportunities or put your name down for occasional event support - please message us or email info@cransleyhospice.org.uk

Do you know anyone who works at New Look?
Encourage them to VOTE for Hospice UK to be their next Charity Partner!
We all know the incredibly valuable care that the Hospice movement delivers - it's absolutely fantastic that larger corporates are now getting on board and helping us to win the battle for exceptional end of life care!

Can you help us 'Make a Change?'
If you've got a local business or community group, we'd be so grateful if you'd take a Cransley Hospice collection box.
All those pennies can quickly add up and every single donation, big or small, contributes directly to improved care and services for local people at the end of their lives.
... If you can help us, please send us a message or email info@cransleyhospice.org.uk and one of the team will be delighted to bring you out a new collection box!

Everyone deals with grief differently. But the one thing that unites us all is the desire to remember the happy times with those we love.
Consider collating a free online 'Scrapbook of Memories' to celebrate the life of someone you've lost. You can keep it private, or invite others to contribute their special memories. It's a beautiful way to make a lasting testimonial to help your healing.

When my husband received his terminal cancer diagnosis , we were lost, but then Amanda Stark , from the Hospice became our nurse, and everything changed. We had wonderful caring treatment, and and Jim became an outpatient at Cransley, where Dr Wiseman quickly sorted out Jims' meds. He had physiotherapy at Cransley.

On every visit to the Hospice we were met with cheerful kindness by everyone, nothing was too much trouble.

Jim wanted to die at home, and with the support of the Hospice team, this was made possible. They also ensured that other agencies were involved in Jims' care.

I can never thank everyone enough.

It is also important to say that care by the Hospice can go on for months or years, it is not limited to the last few weeks of life. The very best advice and care and support is given to the whole family. If you visit Cransley, you will find a wonderful light, bright , cheerful place, full of laughter and gentle kindness.

It is truly nothing like a hospital environment, and nothing to be scared about.
