Craven is administered by the Craven District Council which is made up of 30 councillors who represent the 19 wards that make up the district. Craven District Council has offices in Skipton at Granville Street and the Town Hall and at Settle Town Hall.

Pat won the Citizen of the Year Award and the Volunteer of the Year Award at the Craven Community Champions Awards this year. We're all so sad to hear that she passed away at the weekend. She was incredibly inspiring and a joy to meet. We hope this video gives you some idea of what an amazing person she was.

We're all deeply saddened to hear that Pat Wardman, winner of our Citizen of the Year and Volunteer of the Year Awards at this year's Craven Community Champions Awards, passed away suddenly on Sunday. She was an inspiration to us all, and lit up the awards evening with her warmth and energy.
