Creative Learning

Creative Learning is a project of Community Action Dacorum

Creative Learning is an adult education project hosted by Community Action Dacorum and funded by the Hertfordshire Adult and Family Learning Service. We provide courses of need or for fun and start them mostly by request. If there is a particular course you would like to see provided locally, please let us know. Courses are aimed at all adults but with a particular emphasis on those who may find it difficult to access mainstream education. These courses can also be provided for local business and the private /statutory sectors in general.

Course fees are subsidised and any proceeds go back into the project to offer more low-cost courses. Learners can apply for funding from the project to support their attendance at courses if they are unable to meet the full fee.

Our courses are delivered through a team of tutors primarily drawn from the local community and include skills for life /work, well being, cookery /nutrition and women only courses. The project welcomes the support of volunteers who can offer help with course administration and marketing.
