Went for breakfast, all different options chosen by our group were lovely and the service was brilliant. We were offered children’s sized cutlery for my toddler - the first place this has ever happened and so it really stood out for me.

User

Very nice place to eat and drink staff very pleasant and helpful been before and we keep returning

User

Had a lovely meal here on Saturday night. Staff and service were amazing. It's very well organised & the children were fine in the family area until 10pm which was great. I'd definitely recommend it. X

User

Great place to eat and drink every day of the week. Loads of stuff going on every night. Love this place

User

Great place for all the family, the men were happy to have screens showing the football whilst we ate & the children happy in the little soft play area. Perfect! Food was amazing & reasonably priced compared to some family restaurants we had looked at going to eat! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to return!

User

Great food had to wait a long time for desert because the girl who took the plates didn’t tell anyone we were fine she’s our main

User

Went there yesterday to watch football and have a meal. good atmosphere and staff were very busy but coped well with the football crowd. Very nice place.

User

Went last night for dinner .. very helpful cleaned table we were sat at. Lovely food and even tho there was confusion about the food ordered they were very polite hospitable and

brought the most tasty beef Yorkshire pudding dish my daughter loves so much..

User

We had 3 evening meals and could not fault the service staff where polite and helpful food was hot and cooked to our liking a few hen and stag groups in there but thats the norm for a weekend in Newquay

User

Staff very welcoming and friendly and the food was amazing.. I had the 5 plate plank , it was for sharing but I ate the lot, well almost , the wife wanted a piece of garlic bread so I failed.. never mind I’ll have to go back and give it another go

User

My kids like coming to cribbar for a cheeky fry up every now and then. And the only reason we choose cribbar is due to the soft play. Thanks.

User

Food was surprisingly good, service was quick enough and staff were friendly. But it was clearly understaffed so tables weren't being cleaned and the floor was a mess from a party earlier in the day.

User

Went last night staff worked very hard but couldn't keep up. As for a 10 oz gammon steak, more like 3 small, thin, salty rashes of bacon with half a burnt tomato, 1 small burnt pineapple ring & chips. Wouldn't go again, thought it was a Wetherspoons, I hope not.

User

It’s the first time I’ve popped in for a while and not the Cribbar I knew and loved. The lady that served us was a little grumpy. There were no gin glasses left and most of the real ale was off. All things very minor. Service with a smile would have allowed us to gloss over this nicely x

User

Hubby & I called in as we wanted a hearty meal before driving our 280 mile journey home. Hubby had Cumberland sausage and mash which he really enjoyed. As I had skipped brekkie I was extra hungry so opted for a small brekkie and ordered chips with it. Mistake, the fried egg was so over cooked it was like rubber, I had a quarter of one mushroom, the hash brown tasted like it had been fried in old fat. The chip were the best thing on the whole plate. Very disappointed as it’s not the usual Westherspoons standard. All served by a very happy guy tho, he was lovely X

User

Visited the Cribbar this morning for my little boy to have a play in the soft play . We got there and the tables were dirty as well as the menus, the staff were rude and the kids pasta was unpleasant after waiting for so long for it to arrive. They are clearly understaffed . Such a shame because it's a great set up for the littlens to play and grab a bite to eat . Would not recommend!

User

The wait for food at over an hour was not proportional to the number of people within the establishment. The staff were uninterested and lacking in customer service skills. The food when it did arrive was cold and tasteless. I decided not to waste energy complaining as I really do not think the staff would have cared. Left hungry and disappointed.

User

I think one is being generous, rude staff and can’t get served. As 2 couples looking for a couple of pints and a couple of cocktails we were just ignored by 3 different members of bar staff who after having eye contact still left to serve the non cocktail orders, maybe the staff just can’t make them or can’t be bothered ended up leaving this time as it was their second chance after a similar experience last time when the staff party took preference over customers! It’s a shame as it could be a nice local bar for us

User

I live in Newquay and have always visited here in the past (weatherspoons) but recently have had to send food back

We have to wait too long to be served, too long to wait for food, have to ask for our sticky table to be cleaned, change dirty cutlery, return cold food, wait too long for replaced food which arrived in a mess so couldn’t eat it!

And this is not cheap food we’re talking about!

Ultimately this place has gone so far down the list of eating places in Newquay, such a shame!
