Cries Of Children Organization

Cries Of Children is a cosmopolitan organization, that campaigned and supports children that face incredible difficult situations; neglected and abused.

The cases of child abuse and violation of their rights are insurmountable in spheres of our communities. Abuses and violations of children’s rights are derived from diverse cases.

• Victims of prejudice, children accused of being witches who are madly maltreated

• Teenage boys and girls trap into sexual trade worldwide and are constantly violated sexually either through heterosexuality or homosexuality

• Children are beaten at home and in schools like convicted criminals in the name of discipline

• Former child soldiers abandoned

• Children that are put in prison without proper care, and are also constantly violated sexually either through heterosexuality or homosexuality

• Under-privilege children given to upper-class families for the sake of sound education who instead are subjected to dreadful abuses.

• Children that are casualties to alcoholism, drugs consumption and gangsterism.

• And recent complained of young boys being sexually abused on foot academies.

Our Campaign

We campaigned and help children that fall under the category above. Our campaign is based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child Adopted and opened for signature, ratification, and accession by General Assembly resolution 44 /25 of 20 November 1989 Entry into force 2 September 1990, in accordance with article 49.

The Convention

In 1989, world leaders decided that children needed a special convention just for them because of people under 18 years old often need special care and protection that adults do not. The Convention sets out these rights in 54 articles and two Optional Protocols. It spells out the basic human rights that children everywhere have: the right to survival; to develop to the fullest; to protection from harmful influences, abuse, and exploitation; and to participate fully in family, cultural and social life.
Every right spelt out in the Convention is inherent to the human dignity and harmonious development of every child. The Convention protects children's rights by setting standards in health care; education; civil, and social services.

Our vision

Our vision is to campaign to improve the way children in difficult circumstances rights violations and abuses are tackled and highlight the importance of intervening early to help children with emerging issues before they become long-term problems.
We will pressure every government to think hard about how best to meet the needs of children, according to the Convention Of The Rights Of The Child.
