Feeling grateful I got chosen to design this amazing bride dress not only because she’s a beautiful person but also because she wanted the dress to convey a story. ❤️ . The Hacienda where they got married, it was the groom childhood home, a stunning property surrounded by green fields. Once featured in the page of Vogue, (second, third, fourth pics) we started the process of the dress by thinking of this ideas of memories, 70’s vibes and the feeling of xxx in a hammock. . .... Made with 10 metres of pure Italian silk, the dress is designed with a high low hem, and hankyhems rather then train a back, allowing for the multilayered skirt to move around the body like the wind around the trees. . . The billowing sleeves and deep cuffs added a touch of vintage colonial style and Latin spirit. . . The handmade in Italy silk appliqués were stitched by hand with the same patience it takes for a plant to flourish. . The dress took 6months from concept to completion and a very enjoyable process. . . I would like to wish this beautiful couple much happiness for a forever after life together 💕 .
