Some of my designer friends have been busy coming up with gorgeous designs for the Marly Bird/Red Heart yarn collaboration - Chic Sheep which you can find out about here http://www.redheart.com/chicsheep and the first design is from Whistle and Ivy see below!
Listen to Briana Kepner and and what this copyright theft of her Infinity tecnique means to her and her family. Let's support her as we only can by sharing her story.
My friend Briana Kepner invented and launched a new technique Infinity Crochet over a year ago that revolutionised the way we approach cables in crochet, an easier and neater way that was more appealing to the eye.
She has already published a number of beautiful patterns using this technique http://brianakdesigns.com/infinity-croche t/
Whilst she has been coping with some family issues, another designer has renamed the new technique and is passing it off as their own.
... It happens a lot in our industry that someone will change a stitch or colour and pass off a pattern as their own but stealing a new groundbreaking technique is so much worse when you have worked for months and months to master.
Let's all stand together with Briana and ensure her technique and her branding get the acknowledgement that she deserves.
