Coming in at £45 it offers exeptional value & quality, designed to be beutifully simple and to engage your child and many generations to come. Whatch out for the highly decorated alternatives and always ask what it is made of, don’t accept simply "wood" as an answer, quite often they are made... of MDF, hence the high decoration to mask that, if the shop assistant or owner cannot clearly say what it is made from and its sourcing journey, then in my opinion assume the worst. Would you give your child a peice of MDF to play with? I would not! Visited Cirencester from Essex with my 10 month old and was delighted to stumble across Crocodile Toy Shop. The chap who served us (I’m assuming the owner) was so passionate about his products and it was so nice to see a shop filled with wood instead of plastic. You could tell our purchase meant a lot to the seller and we were thanked for our support on the way out. Would 100% recommend.

This is THE best toy shop I have been to in a long time. Take your family there for the afternoon & them visit the Mosaic cafe next door. Perfect Saturday afternoon!

My parents use to take me to the Crocodile toy shop when I was young, now I bring my own children here and still get as excited as when I was a little girl!



The staff are so lovely and helpful and the store as a whole is a magical experience - which is exactly what a toy shop should be!



I love how selective the owners are with the products they stock and how they really know their suppliers. I also think the store is very reasonably priced for the quality and expertise you receive.



We are looking forward to visiting in half term to buy more Lanka Kade animals for our beautiful Ark that you recommend (which yet again, your recommendation was spot on and my children absolutely love it!)

Love this shop! A proper toy shop is such a rarity, we are sure to pop in whenever we visit Cirencester. Such a knowledgeable and friendly owner and a wonderful range. We particularly like the lanka kade, the animals we bought today are a huge hit. Ethical, tactile and beautiful - what more could you ask for!

It brings back memories of being a young boy and now i have the privilege of taking my son to the same shop ,he is mesmerized with all the toys , calling it the best ever toyshop he even calls it a real toy shop ,they are friendly and very helpfull
