Croft Park Description

Welcome
A warm welcome awaits you at Croft Park. We are located in East Yorkshire, one of England's most beautiful counties and what better endorsement could you have than that of world renowned artist David Hockney who is inspired by the East Yorkshire Wolds landscape. Croft Park is situated in the East Yorkshire village of Little Weighton, just 3 miles from England's largest market village of Cottingham.
As part of a village community we are fortunate to have local facilities, a garage, a village store and Post Office, a public house serving excellent cuisine and most importantly public transport, all just a short stroll from the park. User

Outstanding lodge and service is amazing from the staff at hand any time of day and night .. definitely the best lodge we have ever stayed at ..you won't be disappointed the quality of detail is brilliant and equipped with everything you could think oflodge to have an enjoyable stay . Booked again for next year !

User

The most amazing lodge, not one thing to complain about and the welcoming staff and little touches like the prosecco the Xmas tree lit up on our arrival was just stunning. We would not hesitate to stay here again and recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a luxury break in nice peaceful surroundings

User

Stayed in hawthorn lodge last weekend and it was fabulous , immaculate through and through all mod cons . although they are busy installing new lodges this didn't affect us in anyway . the hot tub was a bonus as when we booked it was not advertised plus very secluded so felt we had our own spa . thankyou for the prosseco cant wait to see it finished .just one comment think a bigger door mat would be better to stop wood floor getting wet with the dog to protect your lovely wood floors

User

Stayed in Hawthorn Lodge as 4 female friends last weekend and it was stunning. Location fantastic for trips out to Beverley, on site cafe great, owners friendly and welcoming and lodge absolutely beautiful. Would highly recommend.

User

Lovely warm homely cabins, tastefully decorated and spacious. The hot tub was lovely very spacious decking area. Quality appliances in the cabins easy to use etc. Very comfortable furniture including beds, slippers and robes on arrival was a lovely touch. Only 1 criticism and thats dogs allowed on site but not allowed in on site cafe but all in all fabulous stay and great near by pubs ! xx

Just left after a lovely 4 night stay here at craft park. The staff were helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The lodge was beautiful and had everything needed. Would definitely recommend x

User

Just had a three night break in maple lodge. The lodge was fantastic, the site very peaceful and well maintained. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be back.

User

Just came back from a few night stay in birch lodge and it was amazing! The lodge itself was spacious and had a luxury feel. The hot tub was lovely and warm and was ready for us when we got there which was a bonus as i had seen reviews saying they couldn’t use the hot tub on the first night. The hot tub in birch lodge is secluded by a fence so people cant see in and the whole decking area is fenced off so good if you brought dogs. The robes and slippers provided topped it off too!

Its in such a peaceful area and is perfect for a few days of relaxing. Theres a pub about a 10 minute walk away which was lovely and a retail park about 15 min drive with b&m, aldi, lidl, iceland and waitrose for any supplies you need whilst there.

I would highly recommend croft park and particularly birch lodge and I’ve already been looking at dates we can come back!

User

Just booking our third stay at Croft Park. It's a fabulous site, very clean modern and the lodges are beautiful. The site managers Damien and Nicola are always on hand if you should need anything.

There's a lovely village pub just a ten minute walk and they serve really lovely food and even have a gin bar!

I would say this is one of the nicest parks I have stayed at and can't wait to go back...

User

Just back after a wonderful mid week break. We have stayed in many lodges and this one(Hawthorn Lodge) got to be in our top 3 favourites.

A lovely lodge finished to a high standard. The park is so peaceful and the area is stunning. You definitely need a car to explore the area because there is some beautiful little villages and towns to visit in the area and along the coast.

Thank you to the management for a wonderful stay and hospitality. John.

Hi I stayed here last weekend with my husband and 3yr old in one of their Birch lodges...we were blown away at just how gorgeous and big it was. Everything was sparkling clean and fresh and they had just put Christmas trees in all their lodges which was lovely! We were welcomed and shown round and how to work everything there is a booklet with everything you need to know about the park, cafe and local amenities etc. We visited Beverley Christmas market while we were there which was easy to access and well worth a look....overall it was a lovely weekend in a beautiful lodge and the icing on the cake...a dusting of snow while in the hot tub :) Thank you again we will be rebooking for next year soon!

User

Half way through a 5 day stay on our first British holiday in over 30 years and a first for a lodge holiday. We have been really lucky with the weather which always helps but I have to say the Ash Lodge that we are staying in is superb. Tastefully decorated to the highest standard, we literally have everything we need and the hot tub, which was ready to use on our arrival, is bliss. The staff are all very helpful and so nice. Well done to everyone concerned in making this a fantastic and relaxing holiday. We will certainly be recommending this holiday to our family and friends.

User

Had an amazing time here. Hawthorne lodge was beautiful. the location is fab for days out within a 20 minute drive there was so much to do. spent every night in the hot tub with a glass or 2 of prosecco, it made for such a relaxing week for us and our 8 month old puppies 1st holiday. we wouldn't hesitate to book again. loved it thank you

User

Great stay last week. We stayed with our two daughters aged 11 and 7 plus 1 year old dog. Lodge was clean and modern. Really nice area. Hot tub was a great extra as was the dog bowls and bottle of prosseco! Would not hesitate to recommend.

User

Fantastic stay in Ash lodge haven’t left yet but need to express how beautiful it is!! Don’t want to leave... very spacious, tastefully decorated and spotless! Hot tub wonderful daughters first time and loved it!! Thanks all xx

User

Absolutely stunning lodge! So cosy and decorated lovely my only negative is that the decking towards the hot tub got so slippery wen wet that maybe if there was a mat that could be stored in the lodge and then rolled out wen using the tub would make it much safer! But other than that I can’t wait to go back and would recommend to anyone!!

We got home today after a four night stay. The lodge is lovely, comfortable and pretty well equipped. The location was beautiful and a great base to visit many other places. We went to Beverley, Hull, Bridlington and Leeds. We stayed with our 20 month old Rottweiler and from a dog owner point of view I'd maybe alter a few things. I don't allow my dogs to walk around everywhere when they have been out and got grubby but it was hard to stop at the lodge. it could be useful if it would fit to have a safety gate so the dog could be kept on the vinyl floored area.

Also when in the hot tub I didn't feel confident leaving him on the gated side of the decking separate from the hot tub so we had to tie his lead near the hot tub so we could keep an eye on him this was because the back end of the hot tub area was open and allowed access on to the grounds. If there had been a gate to close off the hot tub area at the back we could have left him loose.

The deck was extremely slippy (we were warned) this was even before we used the hot tub. I actually slipped after getting out and honestly thought I was going to be leaving in an ambulance then spent the rest of our stay in a lot of pain.

I don't know what could be done about it but it would definitely put me off visiting again in winter especially. Also the canopy being missing from over the hot tub made it not as comfortable to use the hot tub so we only went in the once.

The kitchen was really well equipped just missing a few more basics. We went out and bought a cheese grater as we couldn't see one. There weren't any pint glasses which my other half would have liked. We also went out and bought bin liners as the one left with the kitchen bin was not big enough for the bin.

I found We bought a lot of stuff with us that had there been a more detailed list of stuff provided I could have left at home.

The wifi in the lodge was a big let down we ended up tethering the laptop from my mobiles data.

Finally we noticed a strong smell of cannabis in the ensuite bathroom this could really do with Looking in to.

I think overall in warmer weather and now knowing what is provided we would be able to enjoy the lodge more next time.
