Cromwell Bottom Wildlife Group Description
This Group is dedicated to the development of Cromwell Bottom Local Nature Reserve for the education and enjoyment of all visitors to the site. We have planted almost 1, 000 trees and bushes, developed a bird feeding area, fitted a screen for photographers and a bench. We have also started removing unwanted trees around the lagoons. We organise volunteer work parties where anyone can come along. If you would like to help us then contact us by visiting our blog: http://cromwellbottom. blogspot. co. uk /

fabulous place has something for everyone, birds, peace, beautiful scenery and lovely people take you wellies and enjoy the muddy puddles too
What a wonderful place so near home, don't know why it took us so long to find it?
We kept asking ourselves, why haven't we ever been here before? We absolutely loved Cromwell Bottom and the bumblebee hunt today. I must say a huge thank you to the group members who made us feel so welcome. Especially those that took time to engage our 5yr old little girl, talking to her, showing photos so she could see close up what we were looking at. Despite being very tired she's been chatting about things we saw since we got home.
Amazing wild flowers, birds, a few butterflies, a little caterpillar and bumblebees ... We will return
Enjoy your visit x
The kids (7.5 and 2.5) and I love Cromwell Bottom. Easily while away a couple of hours or more spotting bugs and critters.
Love it here and the dogs like it too :) Grab your camera and make a visit :)
