What a fantastic Full English, we will be back.

We had coffee and cake mmmmmmm gorgeous. I'm fussy about my coffee but I have to say it was superb. Carrot delicious. I would always recommend Cromwell s we have been going for 18 yrs . Love it s atmosphere and staff and of course the food . Well done Cromwell s. ��

We had afternoon tea for me and my hubby and 3 boys had kids meal! We throroughly enjoyed it and so did the children as they also chose a big fat chocolate cake for after 😋



Afternoon tea was very filling and I couldn't finish all my cake! Definitely recommend and can't wait to go back! Staff lovely and friendly too, nice atmosphere!

This place is a diamond in Pontefract. I'm afraid to say I've not been in years, but that will after yesterday. The staff we're friendly and polite even though it was busy. I had the burger and it was beautiful. Nicely priced and a lovely place to eat and drink.

New to the area and saw the sign and decided to venture down the alley and much to our surprise it was lovely. The staff and food were fantastic and will definitely be calling again very soon. Thank you.

It's like stepping back in time. This place is full of charm. The food is excellent and it's so nice to have your order taken at the table and your food and drinks to arrive quickly and be hot. It's definitely a place to visit again and again.

Had lunch with my granddaughter, was lovely very good tasty food and very polite service, we will definitely be going back, I would highly recommend it

Excellent Service!! We asked if it was possible to have a take out afternoon tea for friends yesterday and a afternoon tea today for us to sit in. Both our friends and us would like to say was outstanding. Best prawn sandwiches ive ever had, cakes delicious and beautiful scones. Salad garnish was tasteful and a really well thought out afternoon tea. Would highly recommend and we have had people asking us all afternoon when posted on facebook where we had been. Little Gem is Cromwells. Been previously for Salmon fillet salad and always delicious. Thank you so much for wonderful customer service and great price. Will be telling everyone about you. Merry Christmas from the printers in the indoor market!

Came here yesterday with my daughter for lunch, it was our first visit and was recommended to us by a young lady who works at Affaire. We didn't know this place existed as it's down a little alley way. We were pleasantly surprised by the top quality food that we had at a very reasonable price. We loved the quaintness of the building and the staff were efficient and friendly and my gin fizz was lovely. It's definitely on our list to visit again!

Called in today for afternoon tea it was excellent along with all the staff. We will be back

My friend and I went for lunch, the staff were pleasant and helpful but the pie and peas we had were bland and tasteless. Found it quite expensive for mediocre food

I've been going to Cromwells for years telling everyone how good the breakfast is, well not anymore, yesterday it was dreadful, 2tiny rashes of fat overcooked eggs tomato that must have seen the grill for all of 2 seconds, mushrooms looking suspiciously like tinned in runny cream, no mustard fried bread just deep fried, it was literally thrown on the plate with no care, shame ,
