CROOKES FOLK CLUB

We are an intimate weekly folk club. Held in the upstairs room of The Princess Royal, every Thursday. Doors open at 8: 15pm for an 8: 30pm start.

Each week, we feature an invited guest, but also welcome and encourage singers and musicians, of all styles and abilities, to play short floor spots, for which there is no need to make prior arrangement. We always endeavour to fit everyone in however, on busy nights, anyone arriving after 9: 00pm would be unlikely to be called and, if we are busy then, people may only be called once.

We do not charge for entry, but do run a collection and raffle (for a choice from an eclectic selection of CDs) to enable us to pay our guests' expenses.
