Staff here are fantastic, friendly and provide a great service. Perfect place for family lunches for all 0 to 90. With an atmosphere that has drawn us back several times over the past few months. The sharer plank on a Saturday is a bargin at £7.99 with its large portion sizes and tasty selection....highly recommend to family friends and everyone we've yet to meet �

Had a lovely three course Christmas lunch, delicious food, Santa hats, crackers, table decorations and excellent service - thank you to all concerned ! Also the eggs rarebit breakfast is highly recommended ! Look forward to trying other dishes from the new menu.

Dropped in for the last 2 England matches. I believe Justin has recently taken over the pub. Getting his staff trained how he wants them, female staff excellent male staff need to step up to the plate. My missus refuses to go anywhere else now so keep up the good work. ( Pete Brooks get usen back in there judge the new manager on his merits not past managers) I'm sure you'll get a warm welcome and maybe a pint on the house.

Been in today with my mum for a spot of breakfast, witch is the breakfast in arnold by far. We also had hot drinks witch were lovely. the staff are friendly. Smiles all round and a nice chat too. Me and my mum will be going again.

been a few times since the refurbishment and the meals are nice friendly polite staff and fantastic decor looks like a friendly pub now but before had doubts not now a true show piece

Really nice food, beer slightly flat ( carlsberg generally is ) . All in all a nice place with lots of festivities on show 👍🎄

Hot drink (good selection)and a breakfast muffin absolutely a bargain deal at £1.79 my cousin had the hot chocolate which was piled high with lovely cream ! Staff where Very friendly towards me and my baby I was made to feel welcome I have been twice already and will continue to do so lovely refurb to very warm and cosy �

Didn’t realise until we had left that we had been charged full price despite 50% offer being advertised , but food was Fantastic , just check your being charged correctly x

I think you need to look how you serve your customers in future, I had to wait half an hour for my coffee, your bar staff where run off there feet, what with making the drinks and then having to take them to the tables, besides serving the alcoholic drinks as well. You need a waitress.

we ordered 4 adult meals and 1 child's. We had a starter which was cold and our mains had burnt chips and over cooked everything else. Plus almost an hour wait for the mains.

Unfortunately I went in a couple of mths back and I’m disabled so struggle to walk sometimes and might knock into someone by accident, well I was walking towards the bar and nearly tripped over the mat but managed to steady myself but stumbled into a “regular “ who kicked off asking why I knocked him (he could see my walking stick ) and because he kicked off the bar staff refused to serve me

The manager is very rude. Turned up to do a disco for them, and he told me I wasn't needed, after having booked us. He made out he had tried to cancel, but this was obviously a lie. I Drove for over an hour to get to the place aswell. Having looked inside this would appear to have been a blessing in disguise! Avoid, avoid, avoid this place!!!

The Landlord Alex is so miserable, only speaks to who he likes, deffo in the wrong industry! Overheard him telling a group of punters one Saturday evening to stop taking pictures, it's not a photo both! The only reason I go in is because the staff are really friendly and the doormen do a good job

Stay away new owners microwave food landlord is rude horrible beer and very dirty very poorly run stay clear alot better pubs in the centre
