About Crowdpatch

CrowdPatch is a global, not-for-profit, social enterprise that provides a free crowdfunding platform for social entrepreneurs, activists and creatives to raise money for projects that benefit their local communities and interest groups, especially disadvantaged and vulnerable groups. Projects are grouped into patches, which are overseen by administrators called patch leaders. CrowdPatch's membership community can engage with projects as volunteers and /or paid freelancers. Operating as a Community Interest Company, CrowdPatch enables campaigns to keep all the money raised and does not take a percentage cut for administration. CrowdPatch funds itself by nurturing a rich freelance network of registered members, who offer skills and experience as volunteers and for payment to project owners, and by offering bespoke consultancy, training and marketing services to people interest in setting up crowdfunding projects. CrowdPatch featured on TRT World's #RoundTable strand on 13 June 2018. Head of Crowdfunding, Christopher Norris took part in a programme titled 'Is crowdfunding society's safety net?'. The show was broadcast to over 190 countries around the world and will be seen by over 2 million people: https://youtu. be /kyasjmJk1Vc (26: 14 minutes)
