Crowdpleaser is an events-based patronage platform that enables fans to support and meet the creators they love. How does it work? Creators (Individuals, SMEs, organisations) and Patrons (family, friends, fans, supporters) engage in patronage. Patrons support and engage with the creators they love, paying them on a monthly basis for access to their creative worlds – including exclusive events. As a result, Creators make a living from their creative endeavour, helping to ensure the financial day-to-day-survival of their creative practices. We’re initially targeting the £15. 1billion UK arts and culture sector. We make money by taking a 7% commission on all patronage that exchanges hands. We acquire customers primarily through a strong member-invite-member viral engine of growth. Pollinator will be built on a country-by-country basis, using one multilingual web application that responds on multiple country-specific domains.
